More House is the home of Catholic Chaplaincy and provides a place of welcome to all members of the University community of all faiths and none.

Whether you are looking for a place to study, relax and unwind, call in for a chat with the chaplain, pray or just pop in for a quick coffee between other things then More House, with its sense of welcome and home comfort is the place to come.

First of all More House is an open house. The front door is open from morning till evening Monday - Friday and again from after Mass on Sunday when there is Sunday Brunch and the house is open until the last students leave.

As you come through the front door you'll find the chapel on your right and the chaplain's study on your left. Straight in front of you is the entrance to the student kitchen which always has tea and coffee and biscuits available with fresh milk in the fridge. Some students and groups use More House kitchen to get together for a meal.

To the right is the sitting room and then through that and right again is the study/library. This is a good place to study and has free Wi-Fi access. We also have the closest thing to a theological library on campus with lots of excellent books that will inform and maybe also challenge.

Upstairs on the first floor is the group meeting room where CaSSoc meet most Thursdays of term and which is used by a number of other university groups during the week. If you belong to a group that is looking for a free and friendly meeting place then check with Fr. Tony.

To the rear of More House, as you'll see from the slideshow, is an amazing garden which really comes into its own in the summer term.

In a campus filled with 1960's square concrete boxes the homely feel of More House is a welcome change!
